In-house absentee ballot voting for the June 23, 2020 Primary Election
February 1, 2020

The Spencer County Clerk’s Office will be holding in-house absentee ballot voting for the June 23, 2020 Primary Election on the following dates and hours:

  • FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m. through MONDAY, MAY 18, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 25th – 8:00 a.m.-12 p.m.

How to request an application for a mail-in absentee ballot.

The voter, voter’s spouse, parents, or children of the voter may request SBE 44-A. mail-in ballot application for the absentee voter by mail, in person, by fax, email, or by phone.

How to apply:

The application must be mailed or emailed directly to the voter or given directly to the voter in person. NO THIRD PARTY MAY BE GIVEN THE APPLICATION.

The completed application must be returned by mail to the county clerk or be delivered to the county clerk in person by the voter. It cannot be faxed.

Last day to register to vote for the June 23, 2020 Primary election is April 20, 2020 per KRS 116.045 (2). Please contact the clerk’s office with any questions regarding absentee voting qualifications or the upcoming primary election.
